About Us

In the Beginning: Bill Knauz of Land Rover Lake Bluff began offering Land Rovers for sale in 1995.  In January 1996 he invited all Land Rover owners in Illinois to a meeting and facilitated the forming of the Chicago Land Rover Club by Peter and Heather Donnelly, John Kelleher, Derrick Nedzel and Mike Cassiopo.  The Club met monthly at Knauz Auto Park in Lake Bluff for several years with Mr Knauz providing pizza and soft drinks before moving to more central locations.
